Photographer, director, designer of firework displays, composer.
Today, I photograph within the space allotted between snapshot and scene setter. I no longer run after the urgency and the confrontation of street photography, even if I sometimes proceed during similar wanderings.
I sometimes work with accomplices or actors, by means of simple situations, far from theatrical scene-settings.
However, each captured theme carries with it, in my view, a working method demanding it to be interpreted from an aesthetically specific point of view, dialectical and imaginative.
I came into the business by taking part in a small sparkling and vivacious Marseille based theatre, at the age of 17. Swiftly I turned towards graphic arts and photography, specializing in all that turned around a stage.
Several years later, change of medium ; I founded and co-directed the studio « Travaux (mobile) », given over to the creation of music and sound for theatre and dance. Then I was a partner to produce music and sound for many companies in France, among others the out of bounds company Ilotopie.
Since 1998 I am also involved in theatrical direction and as firework designer or line producer within the marvelous and innovative team of Groupe F.
These various activities have taken me to more than 50 countries. Traveling is an integral part of my life.
